Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer

Why cyclone separators?

After leaving the compressor, the compressed air contains water in the form of steam as well as water condensate droplets. These water droplets are created during the compression process due to the reduction in the air's storage capacity that accompanies the reduction in volume.

THE PREMIUM SOLUTION - NEQXUS CYCLONES QX-Z

Now the humid air enters the cyclone. NEQXUS cyclone separators guarantee almost complete separation of water droplets and heavy dirt particles directly after the compressor. The Neqxus-ZYKLON is a centrifugal separator in which heavy dirt particles and water droplets are pushed to the outer edges by centrifugal force due to their mass. The incoming air is automatically forced into a rapidly rotating spiral motion - the so-called double vortex.

Compressed Air Water Seperator

This double spiral motion consists of an outer stream flowing downward in a spiral and an inner stream flowing upward in a spiral. During the exchange between the two streams, air passes from one stream to the other.

Particles present in the air are forced to the outer edges and flow out of the separator through a collection device located at the bottom of the separator.

"Holdy", the perfect, easy to install, practical solution for wall mounting of our compressed air filter series QX-F.

"Holdy" is made of high quality, plastic and the secure clamp for mounting the filters is simply genious.

The condensate is then disposed of via an internal or external condensate drain and can then be treated and disposed of directly via our NEQXUS SEPURA oil-water separator in an environmentally friendly manner.

NEQXUS recommends the use of a  "ZeroLoss"  condensate Drain.
