The dimensioning of the dryer is carried out under consideration of the most unfavourable operating conditions, only this way a constant pressure dew point can be guaranteed. The dryer is calculated on the basis of the maximum flow rate, load changes are not taken into account and the maximum ambient and compressed air temperatures are also taken as a basis. 

Designed for the highest ambient temperatures in summer, the refrigerant dryer is over-dimensioned most of the year and consumes correspondingly more energy. 

The new technology automatically adapts to the actual cooling quantity required, thus considerably reducing operating costs.
